Text Box: Welcome! Thank you for visiting our website! We hope that you will learn more about who we are and what we are doing here in Lima, Peru. Here is a small introduction: When we first met 12 years ago, one of the things we had in common was our desire to go to the foreign mission field. We were married in September 1998 and spent the following 6 years preparing to do this. Kevin studied at the Master’s Seminary and received a Master’s of Divinity and a Master’s of Theology, while Jessica became a licensed Registered Nurse and spent 2+ years working in Labor and Delivery. Finally, after much prayer and consideration, we decided to move to Lima, Peru. We arrived in June 2005. Our baby girl, Kylie, was born in September 2005. Needless to say, it was a big transition: a huge move as we packed up our 28 boxes of belongings (and the surfboard, of course!) and went to Lima; a new language (Spanish), a new country and culture, and our first baby all within 3 months! We have now been on the mission field for 5 years. Kevin teaches & trains Peruvian pastors in a seminary in Lima, and Jessica has started a small medical clinic in a slum area of over 300,000 people. Jessica has been involved in the A.B.W.E. Crisis Pregnancy Center as well, and we are both involved in assisting Peruvian pastors in church planting. Since we arrived in Peru, we have been amazed at the incredible things that God is doing in this country. So many of the people have never heard of Jesus Christ, and they are so receptive to the Gospel. However, there is one absolutely necessary component that we lack: that is people. We need more people. People who know Christ and can share the message of salvation. The opportunities for ministry are endless and every gift, ability and talent can be used! We have clearly seen that God IS working to bring the Gospel to every tribe, tongue, people and nation. The Great Commission IS close to being fulfilled.
